The Virtual Right Place Workshop: Extended Version is a four-session experience that will empower participants to lean into finding their right place. Research shows that where you live is key factor in influencing your health and longevity. The extended workshop allows for participants to go deep into key matters related to determining the right place, afford ample opportunity to engage and learn from peers and, ultimately, create a vetted plan with prioritized next steps. This extended workshop is an outgrowth of recent one-time workshops that have received a 9/10 in overall satisfaction and where over 90% of participants would strongly recommend the workshop.
Ryan Frederick, author of Right Place, Right Time: The Ultimate Guide to Choosing a Home for the Second Half of Life and CEO of Here, will guide the extended workshop. Ryan is a leading national expert on place and healthy longevity and has educated thousands of consumers through keynote talks, workshops, videos, blogs, online assessments and his book.
This free extended workshop is an amazing opportunity for people who (a) are actively thinking about where to live or how to improve their home and/or (b) intent on creating a plan for the future. As the focus of this series will be on the second half of life, applications should be ages 50 and above.
The extended workshop will take place over four (4) Thursdays from 2pm to 3:30pm Central Standard Time (CST) and will be conducted over zoom. There will be approximately 30 min of preparation prior to each session. Participants will be expected to provide candid feedback on the effectiveness of the series.
The specific dates are: 4/20, 5/4, 5/18 and 5/25. Participants are expected to participate in each of these sessions.
Participation is limited to 8 to 10 participants and will be selected to represent a diverse set of situations and backgrounds, including regions of the country, marital status, age/life stages, etc.
Applications are due by Thursday, April 13th and selected participants will be notified by Friday, April 14th.
