The first step in Place Planning is to assess the fit of your current place for today and tomorrow as well as understand your desires and constraints.

Identify Options
Key is brainstorming ways to improve your current place as well as find other places that could be a better fit.

Create a Place Plan
It is important to identify risks and find ways to mitigate these risks as well as develop a prioritized list of action items.

Course Details

Part 1: Assess Your Current Place
The first step is to understand the strengths and weaknesses of your current home.

Part 2: Determine Desires, Needs & Constraints
Our set of living options is rarely unbounded; in reality, it is often influenced by our desires, needs and constraints.

Part 3: Identify Options
When choosing the right place, it is important to consider a number of alternatives.

Part 4: Make a Plan
Action stems from picking a direction with specific next steps.

Workbook
Forty pages and in printable and online formats, the Place Planning Workbook provides a framework to organize your thoughts around place. Broken into four parts, it helps you identify ways to improve your place and create actionable next steps.

Place Plan
The course culminates in the delivery of a clear and concise Place Plan customized to you. This plan is an asset that distills the essence of your situation, serves as a platform for immediate action and can be shared with family and advisors.

The four facilitated sessions are on four consecutive Tuesday evenings or late afternoons depending on your time zone:
